Music composer and singer Prateek Walia is poised to make a significant impact in Bollywood with Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past, Vikram Bhatt’s much-anticipated horror thriller starring Mimoh Chakraborty and scheduled for release on June 12, 2026. Renowned for his contemporary musical sensibilities and emotionally immersive compositions, Prateek has emerged as the creative force behind the film’s soundtrack, composing seven of the album’s nine tracks. He has also lent his voice to one song and penned the lyrics for two tracks, showcasing his remarkable versatility as a composer, singer, and lyricist.

The album presents a captivating blend of romance, mystery, and emotion, perfectly complementing the film’s supernatural narrative. Among its standout tracks is Janmo Janam, a soulful romantic ballad rendered by Mohit Chauhan, while Raaz Hai, sung by Palak Muchhal, adds an ethereal and haunting dimension to the soundtrack. Other notable songs include Nazrein Tu Mila, Lauta Do, and fresh reinterpretations that bring contemporary textures to the album’s emotional landscape.
At the heart of the soundtrack lies Aashiqui Mein, sung by Prateek himself. The deeply personal track holds special significance for the composer, as it marked the first film song he officially signed. Rich in emotion and melodic depth, the song represents a milestone that transformed his professional journey.
Reflecting on his association with Vikram Bhatt, Prateek describes it as a life-changing experience. Their connection began during the 2020 lockdown when he performed an original composition during one of Bhatt’s Instagram Live sessions. Impressed by his talent, the filmmaker remembered him years later when Prateek arrived in Mumbai pursuing opportunities. That chance recognition eventually evolved into creative collaborations and opened the doors to his first major film project.
Speaking about the experience, Prateek expressed gratitude for working alongside celebrated voices such as Mohit Chauhan and Palak Muchhal while also collaborating with emerging talents. He believes the project challenged him creatively and allowed him to explore new musical dimensions.
Having built his reputation through independent music, viral acoustic covers, and projects such as Bloody Ishq and Tumko Meri Kasam, Prateek Walia now takes a major leap forward with Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past. Adding to this milestone, he has also composed the title track for the upcoming Gujarati film Badhu Alright Che, further cementing his growing stature as one of the industry’s promising musical talents.
