The Marathi film Live has been creating a buzz ever since its official announcement a few days ago. The project began on an auspicious note with the recording of its first song during the muhurat ceremony, and now the film has officially gone on floors. With shooting currently underway at a rapid pace, the film has already sparked curiosity among cinema lovers eager to know more about its intriguing storyline.

Produced by Sumit Pandey under the banner of Riddhi Biddi Visions and presented by Chhabi Asim Halder, Live is written and directed by Sanjeev Rai. The film narrates the inspiring journey of a determined young woman and promises to shine a light on several pressing social issues. Through her struggles, resilience, and pursuit of justice, the story explores the realities faced by women while reflecting on various situations prevalent in society today.
Currently being filmed across Madh, Goregaon, and nearby locations in Mumbai, Live aims to blend an emotionally engaging narrative with thought-provoking themes. Interestingly, the title itself reveals very little about the film’s subject, adding an element of mystery that has further heightened audience anticipation.

Speaking about the project, director Sanjeev Rai said, “Live presents a realistic reflection of society. While women today have achieved remarkable success across different fields, the challenges they face continue to exist. The film follows one such inspiring journey while also highlighting certain shortcomings within the system. Through characters from diverse backgrounds, we are bringing attention to issues that are rarely discussed on screen. Our goal is to create a meaningful yet entertaining cinematic experience that resonates with audiences.”
The film features a talented ensemble cast including Milind Gunaji, Anant Jog, Nishigandha Wad, Rupali Jadhav, Hiten Tejwani, Sagar Kale, Anil Nagarath, Namrata Jadhav, Vinay Rajput, and several others.
The impactful dialogues have been penned by Sanjeev Rai and Poonam Vibhute, while Mahaling Kanthale has written the lyrics. The music is composed by Dinesh Arjuna and Aman Shlok. Gopi serves as the Director of Photography, with Saifuddin Sheikh handling the film’s art direction.
