In today’s digital era, social media has become an inseparable part of everyday life, where “live” content captures instant attention and shapes public opinion within moments. Bringing this contemporary reality to the big screen, an upcoming Marathi film titled Live is gearing up to offer audiences a thought-provoking cinematic experience. The film recently marked an important milestone with the recording of its muhurat song in a grand ceremony attended by artists, musicians, producers, and members of the Marathi film fraternity.

Produced under the banner of Riddhi Biddhi Vision, Live is being produced by Sumit Pandey, while Chhabi Asim Halder is presenting the project. The story has been penned by Sanjeev Rai, who is also directing the film. The dialogues have been jointly written by Sanjeev Rai and Poonam Vibhute. The muhurat song was recorded at Recording Pancham Studio in Andheri, creating a celebratory atmosphere filled with music and enthusiasm.
The film’s songs have been written by lyricist Mahaling Kanthale, while composer Dinesh Arjuna has crafted the music. Singer Dr. Neha Rajpal lent her soulful voice to the emotionally rich track “Swapna Sundari…”, recorded during the ceremony.
Live promises to narrate a deeply emotional story centred on a woman’s struggle for justice, dignity, and rights. The narrative is expected to strike a chord with audiences because of its relatable and socially relevant theme. Through this film, director Sanjeev Rai aims to highlight realities rarely explored on screen while also reflecting on the complexities of society and its systems.
The cinematography is being handled by DOP Gopi, while art direction is led by Saifuddin Shaikh. Music composers Dinesh Arjuna and Aman Shlok Jha are jointly creating the soundtrack, which is expected to enhance the emotional depth of the narrative. Although the makers have kept the cast under wraps for now, the film’s shooting is expected to begin soon.
