Dr. Deepti Bhatnagar journey is a remarkable story of reinvention, resilience, and balancing multiple passions. Born and raised in the serene city of Rishikesh, she began her professional career in media after completing her graduation in Mass Communication. In 2004, she became the face of Uttarakhand Doordarshan, where she anchored the channel’s first live show and continued to work for nearly four years. She later expanded her television experience by associating with Sadhna TV.

However, life soon presented her with a new and equally important role—that of a mother. Speaking about the transition, Deepti shared, “I took a break from my career after the birth of my first daughter, Aurra Bhatnagar. Motherhood became my priority, and as every mother knows, it is a full-time responsibility. Gradually, I moved away from my professional pursuits to focus on raising my family.”
During this phase, Deepti explored a completely different path. Inspired by her husband’s wellness background, she pursued a degree in Naturopathy and Yoga. After completing her studies, she joined the renowned Kayakalp Naturopathy and Ayurvedic Hospital in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, where she deepened her understanding of holistic healing. Her interest in alternative medicine continued to grow, eventually leading her to become a qualified acupuncturist.
A major turning point came when her daughter, Aurra, began making a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Determined to support her dreams, Deepti made the life-changing decision to relocate from Rishikesh to Mumbai. “After many discussions with my family, I chose to put my own career on hold and move to Mumbai to help shape Aurra’s future. Today, six years later, seeing her establish herself as an actress gives me immense satisfaction. It has also encouraged me to focus on my own aspirations once again,” she said.
Recently, Deepti stepped into the world of pageantry by participating in the Mrs India SR Queen competition held in Sri Lanka. Initially hesitant, she was encouraged by her husband Vivek and daughter Aurra to take part. The experience included extensive training, photoshoots, interviews, and ramp walks. Her efforts paid off when she secured a place among the Top 10 finalists and won the coveted “Beautiful Eyes” title.
Having appeared in popular television shows such as Nazar, Choti Sarrdaarni, Shubharambh, and Parineeti, Deepti is now excited about exploring new opportunities in acting while continuing to inspire others with her multifaceted journey.
