Vaishali Thakkar portrayal of Kanak in Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik’s production has been earning positive feedback. Now that the show has taken a leap, the audience can expect a lot more from Kanak, reveals the actor.
“The show after the leap will have a lot more dimensions. Apart from the story that’s been carried forward from season one, audiences will see a lot of family drama. Love angles will be executed too… My character is of a royal and arrogant girl Kanak, who doesn’t like Shivraj (Nishant Malkani) and Rasal (played by Varsha Sharma). And this contrasting equation between Shivraj and Kanak will be interesting to watch if their relationship changes,” Vaishali Thakkar says.
Leaps and twists and turns are an essential part of a show. “Every story requires such things to keep the audiences hooked. Similarly, the upcoming tracks of our show will create high voltage drama for the viewers and will definitely be intrigued. There have been very few shows on television that revolved around brother-sister bonding. And amongst the very few, Rakshabandhan… stands unique as it aims at breaking the stereotype of only a brother is expected to protect his sister. Here the sister is also shown as someone who can stand up for her brother when needed,” adds the actor.
