The shooting of the first web series of Marathi OTT platform ‘Planet Marathi’ started in Pune. Though the name of the web series is still under the wrap, it stars Mrinmayi Deshpande, Shashank Ketkar and Abhijeet Khandkekar in the lead roles and Anand Ingle will be seen in the guest role. Produced by Santosh Gujarati and presented by Viplava Entertainments, the web series is directed and written by Mayuresh Joshi. Earlier, Viplava Entertainments had released popular series like ‘Rudram’, ‘Katti Batti’ and popular drama ‘Knock Knock Celebrity’.
Mayuresh Joshi has given many meaningful web series till date. So in this web series too, the audience will definitely get to see something diverse. Mayuresh Joshi says about this web series, “Filming of our web series has started and we are all very much looking forward to filming. Since whole team is familiar to me, it will be a lot of fun working with them. Basically, Mrinmayi Deshpande, Shashank Ketkar, Abhijeet Khandkekar are all talented artists, so it will be very easy to work with them.”
Speaking about web series he adds, “We will not reveal the name of this web series so early, I will just say that it is a very unique love story which will be seen in Marathi for the first time. The main thing is that we are more than happy that this web series will be aired on quality platform like ‘Planet Marathi’. Every director expects his work to reach audiences all over the world and this expectation will definitely be fulfilled through ‘Planet Marathi’.”
