When your minds match, you make magic. And that’s what happens when Director Gifty works with popular singer Guru Randhawa.
Director Gifty and Guru Randhawa have earlier too worked on many singles and they have connected hugely with masses. While everyone knows Guru and his music, the mastermind behind the videos (most of them) is Director Gifty, who shots these videos so well, that they become intent hits.
‘Ishare Tere’, Guru’s recent single was shot by Director Gifty again and the song has already caught up with the young crowds. They decided to shoot the video and Guru who was travelling on an India tour came back to shoot for it because Director Gifty wanted that he only feature in it. Guru shot for the video continuously for 20 hours and then decided to leave. Since the song did so well on the charts, Guru was persistent at giving this his best, and making it a video that people will always remember.
The song has crossed the 100 million mark and both Director Gifty and Guru are rejoicing over it. Director Gifty says, “When I get to know that people love the songs and the videos, it feels nice as the whole effort gets paid by audience’s appreciation. This song is my favourite and I am not being diplomatic here. Also, Guru is very hard-working. Even after travelling, he was ready to shoot so long for the song and had a positive attitude about improvisations on it. That’s what I like about Guru. I have directed Guru Randhawa in ‘Made in India’ and ‘High Rated Gabru’, ‘Lahore’ and we work well together. He has a great understanding of what I perceive about each video.”
