Anshuman Jha defines his next release ‘Midnight-Delhi’ as ‘As dark & as fun as it can get’. Hailed as India’s answer to Tarantino by the Jury in Singapore where the film won ‘Best Editor’, the film has now won ‘Best Actor-Critics Award’ at IIFFB Boston for Anshuman Jha’s portrayal of an innocent serial Killer in the streets of Delhi.
The Barry John prodigy played a gay man in his last release ‘Hum Bhi Akele, Tum Bhi Akele’ & has already begun training for his next action film ‘Lakadbaggha’ which goes on floor this December. And these diverse characters are a fruition of the artistic spark which we saw since in his memorable debut in ‘LSD’ a decade ago.
“Midnight Delhi” – The Dark Underbelly of Capital City is a real-life crime narrative of the notorious Delhi serial killer who used to attack innocent people with a blade in his mouth and was later arrested for his crimes. The actor had researched and prepped rigorously for this role.

The film was also screened in Singapore South Asian International Film Festival 2018, New York Indian Film Festival 2019. The film won award for ‘Best Editior’ in Singapore South Asian International Film Festival 2018.

Rakesh Rawat has directed Midnight Delhi. He won the Best Debut Director for this film in Rajasthan International Film Festival held at Jaipur.
