The hassle that goes behind making a film is unreal, and people involved in the making of a film are always sporty to overcome such hassles. When it comes to making a film there are people beyond actors and directors who are actively a part of this journey, there are people who make the smallest things happen which may later be a part of a bigger picture. Costume assistants, spot boys, and even the carpenters play a big role when it comes to transporting trunks of clothes from one location to the other or even fixing props on sets.
During the shooting of Netflix’s upcoming film ‘House Arrest’ starring Ali Fazal, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Jim Sarbh and Barkha Singh, the production manager along with a few helpers had visited the market to purchase trunks for the costumes. During the errand of buying and carrying the trunks, a biker sped his way through and snatched one of the spot boy’s cell phones. A similar incident took place with the costume assistant, one day after the shooting the assistant was traveling back home in an auto where she came across two thieves on either side of the auto who stole her purse and vanished in no time.
The star cast was really furious and they immediately filed a complaint to the nearest police station.
House Arrest releases exclusively on Netflix on 15th November 2019, in 190 countries at the same time.
