TV and Film actress Vaishnavi Macdonald graced this year’s Perfect Woman Magazine Mr. and Ms. Teen as a member of the Judge Panel. The event awarded kids from the age of 13-18 for their unique talents and traits in order to give them the much-required boost and confidence.
Vaishnavi is best known for her character ‘Geeta Vishwas’ in ‘Shaktimaan’ and since then has been a part of the industry for more than 20 years. She spoke with the media regarding the event, “I’m really delighted to be a part of this event as they are giving young kids such a great platform to showcase their capabilities and talent. I remember when I debuted in this industry and was just 16 years old. I was very raw and clueless but these kids through such platforms get direction to the path they want to pursue. Being a mother to a 16-year old I understand the importance of these platforms as they give the kids the kind of push they need.”
Vaishnavi Macdonald has been a part of more than 40 TV shows and close to 20 Bollywood movies. She’s currently seen on Sony TV’s ‘Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai’ and Star Plus & Hotstar’s ‘Divya Drashti’.
“The organizers told me about the initiatives they are taking against drug abuse amongst young kids. I’m very impressed and looking forward to the measures they are taking because it is a very serious issue and especially amongst teens. Parents have to make their kids aware of these issues and offer them the consultation and advice that they really need. Vaishnavi attended the event to motivate kids and teens and help them pave their way to success as she felicitated some kids with their respective titles and crowned some of the award recipients as well.
