Vaishnavi Macdonald gives her verdict for Mr. and Ms. Teen 2019

TV and Film actress Vaishnavi Macdonald graced this year’s Perfect Woman Magazine Mr. and Ms. Teen as a member of the Judge Panel. The event awarded kids from the age of 13-18 for their unique talents and traits in order to give them the much-required boost and confidence.

Vaishnavi is best known for her character ‘Geeta Vishwas’ in ‘Shaktimaan’ and since then has been a part of the industry for more than 20 years. She spoke with the media regarding the event, “I’m really delighted to be a part of this event as they are giving young kids such a great platform to showcase their capabilities and talent. I remember when I debuted in this industry and was just 16 years old. I was very raw and clueless but these kids through such platforms get direction to the path they want to pursue. Being a mother to a 16-year old I understand the importance of these platforms as they give the kids the kind of push they need.”

Vaishnavi Macdonald has been a part of more than 40 TV shows and close to 20 Bollywood movies. She’s currently seen on Sony TV’s ‘Yeh Unn Dino Ki Baat Hai’ and Star Plus & Hotstar’s ‘Divya Drashti’.

“The organizers told me about the initiatives they are taking against drug abuse amongst young kids. I’m very impressed and looking forward to the measures they are taking because it is a very serious issue and especially amongst teens. Parents have to make their kids aware of these issues and offer them the consultation and advice that they really need. I wish the organizers and Perfect Woman Magazine all the luck in their fight against drugs.” Exulted ‘The Divya Drishti’ actress further

Vaishnavi attended the event to motivate kids and teens and help them pave their way to success as she felicitated some kids with their respective titles and crowned some of the award recipients as well.

Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai on Sony Entertainment Television is gearing up for 90’s waali shaadi and viewers can’t wait to get their favorite on-screen couple Naina & Sameer to get married. The wedding ceremonies are on in full-swing. Everyone on the sets is so much into the wedding mode that their off-camera conversations are also around the same. Recently, few members from the cast off-camera were seen discussing with Randeep what kind of a girl he would want to marry, to which he said that ‘naina ke jaisi’.

Naina played by Ashi Singh has become every boy’s dream girl and every family wishes to have a daughter or bahu like her. Same is the case with Randeep who essays the role of Sameer in the show, in real life wants to marry a girl who has similar traits like Naina. Naina’s character is lovable and at the same time she knows what she wants in life and has her priorities in place. She has waded through all the struggles to ensure she gets married to the love of her life Sameer.

Randeep says, “I’m really attracted to the characteristic traits of Naina and in real life whenever I decide to get married, I would want to marry a girl like Naina of my show. Naina is an independent and strong girl and I really admire these qualities in a girl.”

Randeep Rai continues to shoot despite being injured on the set

Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai, one of the most popular and loved shows on Sony Entertainment Television is a show that takes its viewers down memory lane and relive their 90’s romance. Love of the 90’s was simple, pure and innocent which the lead couple Naina & Sameer portray with all its honesty on-screen. Their characters on the show have wooed the audiences and they have become the best on-screen Jodi of their fans. Viewers are rejoicing as Naina & Sameer are finally engaged and the preparations for their marriage have begun on the show. Each and every actor on the sets, is giving their best to ensure they are able to recreate the 90’s set-up and have been shooting non-stop to ensure their fans get their daily dose of entertainment.

Randeep Rai who is playing the role of Sameer has become a heart-throb not just because of his looks but also because of his brilliant acting skills. Recently, Randeep got his foot injured while shooting one of the scenes. In the shot, Randeep had to break the glass and he got so much into the character that he accidentally stepped on one of the broken glass pieces and cut his ankle. He was bleeding profusely and everyone on the sets got worried at the sight. Everyone wanted him to get his first-aid done, but Randeep being a thorough professional, finished shooting the scene first despite being in immense pain.  As soon as the shot got done, the team rushed him to get first-aid and thereafter Randeep continued to shoot the track for that day.

He mentioned, “I was so engrossed in the scene that I didn’t even realize that I had hurt myself and my ankle was bleeding. I was advised to pack-up given my situation and to go home and rest but then I’m aware of the fact that there are hundreds of people on the sets who work hard daily to make us look good on-screen and be loved by the audiences and therefore I decided that I will continue with the day’s schedule as usual and not let their hard-work go waste. I love acting and once the camera started rolling, I had forgotten all my pain and I kept pushing myself to give each shot my best shot and that was when I realized that how much this role has become a part of me.”

The dedication and passion Randeep has for his role and character is commendable and the same reflects on-screen as well.
