Abraam Pandey who has done various TV shows namely Shrimaan Shrimati, Khichdi, Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot and many others. Now as per our sources, he will enter a new genre and will be seen in the mythological show PARSHURAM, airing on general entertainment channel Atrangii – Dekhte Raho from 6th June 2022.
When contacted, the actor confirmed the news with a huge smile. He said, “Yes, I am very excited to do a mythological show for the very first time. Right now I will not reveal much about my character, but it is a very interesting one.”
When asked why he accepted the mythological show, Abraam Pandey says, “I have not done any work in this genre. So this will be a new experience for me. As an actor, I want to explore new genres because I believe that makes your art stronger. Secondly, Parshuram and his story are known to every Indian. It will definitely attract an audience. I feel lucky to play a character in the story of Parshuram as my debut mythological serial.”
Few actors are scared to be trapped in the image of mythological characters as they think further offers will be for the same genre. “I do not believe that. Acting in different genres, though it is mythological or historical or any other, polishes an actor. About getting offers for similar roles, I do not agree with that,” adds Abraam.
The show featuring Vishal Aditya Singh in lead as Parshuram is airing on Atarangii launched by Vibhu Agrawal, who is a popular name in the OTT industry. The show is produced by Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar of Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment. It also features Ishita Gangopadhyay, Vishal Yadav and Shiv Nayak.
