Zee, one of India’s most iconic media powerhouses, is stepping into a vibrant new chapter with a refreshed brand identity and the heartfelt promise — “Yours Truly, Z.” With a staggering reach of 854 million viewers across 208 million households, the network is now doubling down on its mission to be at the forefront of storytelling, culture, and tech innovation.
Leading this transformation is ‘Z What’s Next’ — an industry-first initiative that offers a front-row seat to Zee’s evolution into a content-tech juggernaut. Designed for industry insiders, this unique showcase spotlighted Zee’s bold vision of a world where stories flow seamlessly across screens and hearts. From character-led narratives to platform-fluid content strategies, Zee is inviting partners and creators to reimagine entertainment together.
The event also reaffirmed Zee’s enduring belief in the power of television, even as audiences shift across OTT, mobile, and digital spaces. It is crafting stories that travel effortlessly — from prime-time TV to reels and everything in between — making sure characters and emotions resonate across platforms.
As part of this futuristic rollout, Zee announced the launch of two hybrid channels set to go live in August 2025: Zee Power and Zee BanglaSonar.
Zee Power is a game-changer for the Kannada GEC space — targeting a younger, semi-urban audience with high-energy fiction, gritty non-fiction, and contemporary narratives. “With Zee Power, we’re not just launching another channel. We’re reimagining Kannada TV with bold, progressive content,” said Siju Prabhakaran, Chief Cluster Officer – South & West, ZEEL.
Meanwhile, Zee BanglaSonar aims to redefine Bengali entertainment. This first-of-its-kind hybrid channel will serve a diverse audience with a mix of fiction, non-fiction, films, and original formats tailored especially for male viewers — a largely untapped demographic. Samrat Ghosh, Chief Cluster Officer – East, North & Premium Cluster, ZEEL, emphasized, “Zee BanglaSonar will complement Zee Bangla while creating fresh, culturally rooted stories for Bengal’s evolving viewer base.”
