After a much appreciated streaming on Disney +Hotstar, Y-Star CTPL announced yet another installation of the much loved rom-com series. Luv Down is a tale of a long distance couple who lived apart for 8months and have suddenly found themselves locked under the same roof due to the lock down announced by the Prime Minister. The series further revolves around how the couple who thought the 21 days lockdown would be a blessing had turned out to be nothing but a curse.
When spoken to the producer, Aditya Bharadwaj about the series he said, “We at Y-star CTPL always aim to bring out concepts that the audience can connect with easily. After Luv Down was released we received so much appreciation that we as a team decided to create another season of the series. We are all set to go on floor from the next month and hope the fans love season 2 just like they did with season 1.”
The second season will also be directed by season 1 director, Sritama Dutta and will be shot in the exotic locations of Mumbai & Goa. Ashwini Pakhrot will be joining the team as the cinematographer.
The previous season featured Amrit Kaur Dhillon, Amaara Sangam, Nitish Mawkin & Samarpan in lead roles while for the new season, the cast is yet to be disclosed as the makers promise to surprise their audiences with some interesting faces.
