Vikrant Rai who earlier has been part of many hit TV shows like Kavyanjali on Star Plus, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan and Maayka on Zee TV, Do Sau Karod Ki Botal and Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon on Doordarshan and Disney Hotstar and Hindi films such as UVAA, BHOURI and LUCCHEY LAFFANGEY in a leading and prominent roles is associated with Hindi film industry as an actor for over a decade.

Sharing his experience of working with first time director, the actor says that it doesn’t matter if a director has done no film before or 1 film or 10 films, what really matters is their energy, their vision and conviction which helps him decide whether he wants to work with that particular director or not. Once he sees that level of dedication, passion in a particular director he feels safe as an actor.
Vikrant Rai will soon be seen in a Hindi homicide thriller/murder mystery film TATKSHAN in the role of a sub inspector in Uttar Pradesh police who solves a gruesome murder case in Lucknow. The film is entirely shot in Lucknow at original locations to give it an authentic and real look. TATKSHAN is directed by debutant director Vaibhav Verma who is also the writer of the film.
Vaibhav Verma in the past has been associated with BR Films as a writer and has worked as creative art director in the web series Inside Edge season 2.
