Bollywood actor Vikrant Rai is well known for his work in TV serials like Kavyanjali (Star Plus), Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan & Maayka (Zee TV). He made his Bollywood debut with film UVAA (2015) in a lead role followed by critically acclaimed film Bhouri (2017) which is currently trending on Netflix.
Apart from being an actor Vikrant is hardcore adventurer at heart known for his passion for riding motorcycle in to unknown territories of India.

Vikrant Rai & his wife Priya Dass have covered many parts of India on motorcycle which includes the full circuit of Leh (Ladakh) known to be one of world’s most deadliest & treacherous roads (Read: Vikrant Rai “Road less travelled” – Hindustan Times) & Mumbai to Munnar down south. The couple is known to travel by themselves without any group.

Recently Vikrant along with his wife chose to explore the states of Assam & Arunachal Pradesh extensively as part of their North East bike adventure. Highlight of this adventure was to cover unexplored parts of our north East.
Vikrant is shocked to see that almost nobody has heard of places likes Pasighat, Aalo(along) ,Mechuka, Bhalukpong. He observed that people in the cities are unaware of these places which are also integral parts of our country & they are heavenly beautiful blessed with nature in abundance and beautiful people.
During their bike expedition they faced many challenges as there are no roads for over 100 KM’s crossing through dense rain forest and many river beds with very little population density. Upon reaching places like Mechuka which is the last small town of India in Arunachal Pradesh and which was over run by Chinese during Indo-sino war of 1962, Vikrant was told by the local host that he is the first Bollywood actor to set foot in Mechuka and stay there.

According to Vikrant Mechuka valley though very difficult to reach is heavenly beautiful small town surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers & landscapes. They have a world of their own. It was almost like staying in a fairy world. Looked like god has put them purposely at a difficult spot so that not many would dare to reach and spoil the beauty of this place.
Riding or driving to places like Mechuka is surely not everyone’s cup of tea. You need lots of patience and skills to negotiate with the challenges which lies on this route & most importantly you got to be a hardcore adventurer and explorer to dare to explore such a place.
