Popular couple Vikraant Singh and Monalisa are already winning hearts on Star Plus’ celebrity couple reality show Smart Jodi. The duo emerged winners in last week’s couple challenge and it is commendable how they are making themselves stand out in amidst some big names on the show purely on the basis of their talent.
Sharing his excitement about the win, Vikraant Singh says, “In last week’s task, all 10 couples had to play a game in which the wife had to throw a garland around the husband’s neck from a distance. Monalisa successfully put 3 out of 5 garlands around my neck. Balraj-Dipti, Ankit-Pallavi also did well. That’s how we landed in the finale. For the finale, husbands had to get their wives seated in a stack of chairs. It started with 12 chairs, I got Monalisa seated very conveniently. Eventually, the number of chairs went on increasing and Ankit was eliminated. Now we were at 20 chairs, and Balraj and I were doing our best to win. At 25th chair, Balraj couldn’t do it and that’s how we won. It will be a fun sequence to watch for the audience.”
The entire set erupted with cheers and claps for Monalisa and Vikraant as they won the challenge. They were congratulated with powerful and inspirational Bollywood tracks like Baahubali, and Re Sultan playing in the background.
As the competition on Smart Jodi intensifies every week, Monalisa and Vikraant are confident they will go far with their exceptional compatibility.
Vikrant Singh married with actress Mona Lisa in January 2017. Vikraant and Monalisa had participated together in Nach Baliye 8. Interestingly, the duo tied the knot on national television in Bigg Boss 10. Vikrant started his film career with the film Mehraru Bina Ratiya Kaise Kati. Then he did Prem Leela, Pakistan Me Jai Shri Ram and Border. He also worked in TV serial Vidya and played Avtaar Singh.
