Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj from the superhit TV show, ‘Anupamaa’ has been winning hearts for his performance on-screen and his uber ‘cool’ persona off-screen! But taking a break from posting fun and filmy reels with his co-stars, Sudhanshu took to Instagram to share an important story and talk about an important cause!
14th – 21st April 2022 is recognised as Fire Safety Week and the actor took to his social media channel to share his own story of a fire accident on one of his film sets.
On a rather regular work- day, Sudhanshu and the entire team on set suddenly heard a fire alarm. Since a set is often covered with a number of wires and circuits, a quick reaction to the alarm was panic. “I noticed people running around that led to extreme chaos all around. Luckily, no one was injured and the set wasn’t damaged a lot. But this made me think how important it is to be aware of the fire- safety protocols are addressed by each place you visit. Safety should always be our first priority must learn of the various fire- safety tips that can help us prepare better. In fact, we should always ask ourselves one very basic question- ‘Are we prepared?,” said Sudhanshu Pandey.
Vanraj aka Sudhanshu shared this story to urge to his followers and fans to understand why one should be aware of fire safety protocols and how everyone must know whether the buildings they work at or their homes are fire compliant.
The actor commended Godrej Security Solutions and the Fire and Security Association of India to launch a new fire safety assessment that will vet establishments as fire compliant and minimise risk.
Sudhanshu was one of the members of the iconic boy band from the 2000’s ‘Band of Boys’ and has appeared in popular movies such as Singham, Khiladi 420, Singh is King, Radhe, Mardaani 2 and others.
