When a new pair appears in a movie, everyone is curious about that pair. The duos, that were seen together for the first time and the audience fell in love with them have always reunited and worked together again. A brand new duo will be seen in an upcoming film. Ashwini Kasar and Pankaj Khamkar will be seen together in the upcoming Marathi movie ‘Tarafa’ whose poster was launched a few days back. With the film set to release on May 6, fans will have to wait a while to experience the duo’s chemistry.
Producer Avinash Kudche (Kaka) has produced ‘Tarafa’ under the banner of Bhoomi Productions and the film has been directed by Subodh Pawar. The first poster of ‘Tarafa’ has increased the curiosity about this film. There was a lot of speculation as to who exactly the actors appeared on the poster and which pair would be in it, there were a lot of discussions, but no one was able to make a real guess. Now the production house has unveiled the mystery and announced the names of both the actors. Ashwini Kasar and Pankaj Khamkar have come together for the first time on the occasion of ‘Tarafa’. Both of them have acting experience as they have worked in serials before. Since the work in the film is a bit different from the serials, both of them have tried to enliven their personalities by assimilating that art. Although the names of the two characters have not been announced yet, they will be understood soon. The story of ‘Tarafa’ needed two new faces to do justice to it. Director Subodh Pawar says that this is the reason why Ashwini and Pankaj were chosen for the lead roles. Both of them have done an amazing job in their debut and they hope that the audience will definitely realize the hard work done by both of them after watching the film.
Along with Ashwini and Pankaj, the film also stars Dilip Dombe, Shravani Solaskar, and Milind Dastane in the roles of child actors Bhoomi Avinash Kudche and Gauri Avinash Kudche. Along with directing, Subodh Pawar has done a four-armed performance by writing the story, screenplay, dialogues and lyrics of ‘Tarafa’. The story of ‘Tarafa’ can be seen through the eyes of cinematographer Raja Phadtare and the compilation work has been done by Nilesh Gawand. The songs written by Subodh and Amrita have been composed by Vijay Gatlewar, Jayshree Karambelkar, and Vivek Naik. Music is directed by Vijay Gatlewar and choreographed by Pradip Karlekar and Shardul Kunwar. Shaul Gatlewar has done the costumes, while Santosh Bhosale has done the makeup. The hairstyle is by Manali Bhosale and the art direction is by Keshav Thakur. Sudhir Meshram is the main assistant director of the film and Mahesh G. Bharambe is the executive producer.
