Find out how Rishab Chadha keeps his creativity alive during this lockdown

Rishab started his career 13 years back with Zee TV’s ‘Aladdin’ in 2007 and since then there is no looking back for this young and talented actor. Since then he has worked in multiple TV shows and web series like Best of Lucky Nikki, The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir, Aadat se Majboor, Shadi boys, Bootpurva and many more which made him a popular face in every household.

“It was my mother’s dream to see me on screen and I’m glad I could fulfill it. I did not join any acting class though I did theatre for 3 years and I believe that’s where I learnt a lot from,” said the actor who was even apart of UTV Bindass’s Kota Toppers.

In 2014, Rishab ventured into the field of film with Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Khoobsurat’ and later was even seen in movies like Drishyam, Lupt and Loev.

With the lockdown in our country, the actor is experimenting with a mini series titled ‘LoveLochaLockdown’ which is a mini-series with light hearted content but a powerful message, “With LoveLochaLockdown I wanted to depict the kind of conversation we have with ourselves also I am including my take on situations people might be going through given the current situations,” explained Rishab.

“I have already begun writing and also learnt the basics of editing and shooting in order to create LoveLochaLockdown. I feel humour is a good way in spreading a powerful message and I miss being in front of the camera so I thought why not create something from scratch,” added Rishab.

Rishab’s latest stellar work includes Voot’s recent web series ‘Illegal’ in which he worked alongside actors like Neha Sharma, Piyush Mishra and Akshay Oberoi.

Mango People Media’s Love, Lust & Confusion Season 2 is out now!

After the tremendous success of the first season, Mango People Media is back with season two of the web series Love, Lust & Confusion. The series is now available for a binge watch on Viu. And the show just got bigger with some stellar additions to the cast, which include well known B-town actors Shiv Pandit and Sanjay Suri, and Gaurav Chopra in a much larger role than his cameo in season 1.

Talking about the show, Producer Neha Anand says, “The reaction to the first season had completely surprised us. The show had managed to find a connect with the young generation, especially women. Needless to say, we were excited at the prospect of bringing out the second season. Our endeavour has been to take the show notches high, in all aspects.” Love, Lust & Confusion had found a huge millennial fan base when it was released last year, becoming one of the most watched web series in the Indian content space, especially in the smaller cities. The lead character, Poroma Sarkar, played by Tara Alisha Berry, struck a chord as the young indecisive woman who is trying to figure out love and life.

Apart from creating a dialogue about the new-age independent woman, the show came to be referred to as a fashion trendsetter feeding to aspiration of the viewers who have been looking at alternative means of entertainment.

Victor Mukherjee, the writer, and director of the show can’t stop beaming. “The success of the first season only brought in more responsibilities. We have worked really hard to ensure we don’t fall into a cycle of repetitiveness. While the season takes the story of Poroma Sarkar ahead, we have tried to ensure the audience finds it a satisfying experience. We have upped the confusion, even as the story takes a mature turn keeping in mind the growth our audiences expected,” he reveals. And from the initial buzz that we have, the team has kept up to its promise.

The show also stars Meiyang Chang, Ankit Bathla, Rajat Barmecha, Mohini Shimpi, Swati Vatssa, Meghana Kaushik and fresh talents such as Sajjad Rezwan.
