A family that dances together, stays together! Welcome to Guddu and Rashmi’s life – a couple who doesn’t want to dance or stay with the family!
Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan’s first song from their much anticipated film Luka Chuppi is already making us groove on our seats! In true 90’s style. The song features a barrage of dancers, 150 to be exact along with some super fun steps too. The couple is seen doing “ luka chuppi” with the family, played by Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Aparshakti Khurrana amongst others.
The foot tapping redux has been recreated by White Noise studios and has been choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.
Dinesh Vijan says, “Poster Lagwa Do was the first song we selected for the album. Actually, much before we even knew how we could use it, we acquired it, it just so happened that it fit so aptly into our plot! The video has turned out to be super fun too. It’s unlikely to use the full cast in a promotional song, as it isnt easy getting everyone back together! But it all worked out and it’s looking great!”
Dinesh Vijan presents ‘Luka Chuppi’, a Maddock Films production in association with Jio Studios, directed by Laxman Utekar, featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon releases on 1st March, 2019.
Atul Srivastava is seemed to having a very exciting September with two movies releases back to back in the same month. He was last seen in ‘Stree’ playing Raj Kumar Rao’s ‘Deddy’ and now will be seen playing Divyendu Sharma’s father in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’.
‘Stree’ has recently joined the 100crore club and there is high possibility that Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ will also join the club.
Atul and Divyendu were last seen sharing screen space in Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer movie ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’.
When asked about his experience of working with Divyendu, Atul Srivastava said, “It was a good experience working with Divyendu once again. He is a good actor and we used to discuss scenes.”
Though we would be seeing him playing a father on screen for the second time both the characters are completely different from each other. In ‘Stree’ he was playing a very open minded and fun loving ‘deddy’ who made the audience laugh on his jokes and the way of explaining sex to his son’. But in Batti Gul Meter Chalu he will be seen playing a father whose son commits suicide and he is hoping that his son is given the justice he deserves.
‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Bhusan Kumar and has actors like Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Divyendu Sharma.
Atul Shrivastav who played Rajkumar Rao’s father in STREE, even after the completion and the release of the hit film Rajkumar Rao still calls him DEDDY (daddy), whenever they meet.
His most recent project ’Stree’ with actors like Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana has been receiving critical acclamation from all around the country. Atul Shrivastav is seen playing the character of Rajkumar Rao’s father which is a comical role. When asked about his character he said, “My character in the film is that of a very broad minded and friendly father who talks with his son about everything but is still protective about him and make sure that he is on the right path.”
Atul Shrivastav has also played Salman Khan’s father in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Now the versatile actor will be seen playing Divyendu Sharma’s father in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ which stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
