With a background in theatre and modeling, actor Vipin Bhardwaj is newest entrant in B-Town, is doing interesting work in films and web series. Vipin, who is playing an interesting character in Apoorva Lakhia’s web series Crackdown, feels that talent and hard work make the way. He said, “I am happy that after working for three years in theatre and also studying acting, my talent has landed me some good opportunities. I play an honest officer in the series. It was an exciting experience working with filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia.
Besides Vipin has also graduated from the prestigious Creating Characters by Samar Jai Singh and Rupesh Thapliyal and acquired training in acting, too. He adds, “You may be talented, but it does not harm to understand the nuances of acting and the craft. An acting school also opens doors of opportunities for you. I feel it is important for every newbie to go to an acting school. Even actors like Ranbir Kapoor have attended acting schools abroad.”
Vipin who has been the showstopper for around 30 fashion shows, including the most prestigious Bombay Times Fashion Week, recently did two music videos- Preety Girl ( Kanika Kapoor ) and Yaad Na Karan . He has also been part of a Hindi film Wanton which was released on Amazon.com-UK and Hulu-USA OTT Platform.
Actor and model Vipin Bhardwaj whose birthday falls on 18 July has a reason for double celebration this year. His film WANTON released on America’s OTT platform Hulu and Amazon Prime in USA. Vipin is receiving great appreciation and applauds for his work in the film.
Another big news for him is Vipin’s web series CRACKDOWN directed by Apurva Lakhia will stream on Voot very soon. The web series also stars Saqib Salim, Shreya Pilgaonkar, Iqbal Khan, Waluscha De Sousa and Rajesh Tahelan.

As Maharashtra government has now given a green signal for films, television & OTT platforms to resume their shoot, many production houses are now ready to begin their pre-production work. Recently, the muhurat schedule of a crime-based web series ‘Bombay Day’ held in N. D. Film Studio. Nitin Chandrakant Desai graced the occasion as the chief guest and clapped the muhurat shot.
The muhurat took place in the presence of a few team members by following all the safety measures. They are yet to receive permission to start the shoot from the government, and it will begin only after the government gives permission. The shoot will be done by following all the rules & regulations issued by the government.
‘Bombay Day’ a crime-based web series which is written and directed by Bharat Sunanda and produced by 1Five films production. It’s inspired by true events. It revolves around the life of Mumbai’s biggest criminal and how he was knocked down by famous encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar. Till that time he had already encountered many big names from Mumbai’s underworld, but this encounter became the biggest encounter of Mumbai. Did anyone help him? Who all were involved in it? Were there any political connections? Many more questions like this will be answered in this series.
Though the whole cast of series is not yet revealed, soon we will get to know about it. Prasad Panchal is Executive Producer, Dharam Sawlani is Line Producer and Charu Khabde associated with this project as a head of Marketing and Integration.
This web series is promising you some goosebumps with crime storyline, drama & action-packed shots and will be released in November on the OTT platform.
