While filming for Regards and Peace, actor Prashantt Guptha put his heart and soul into filming the climax of the movie where he has to bid goodbye to his on-screen mother.
The scene played very strongly on the actor’s mind who drew inferences for the emotions for the scene by channeling the emotions he felt when his real life mother-in-law passed away 7 years ago.
Prashantt says, “This scene played very strongly on my mind because I lost my mother in law to cancer 7 years ago. I arrived about 10 minutes too late to see my mother-in-law. I was told she was fighting for air and when I did this scene for Regards and Peace with my screen mom, the flow of tears just went loose.”
The actor recounts how touched everyone in the room was with this projection of emotions from the actor. He divulges that the entire shooting scene of the hospital room as well as the cameraman was in tears because of what he put into the scene.

Shalin Bhanot’s recently released web series – The Red Land is bringing him a lot of accolades. While everyone loves his character, his look has caught quite a few eyeballs. Interestingly Shalin seems to have his hands full with a lot of projects along with a reality show on colours in pipeline and music video by T Series releasing soon. He was last seen in Colors’s show – Ram Siya ke Luv Kush as Raavan.
Ask Shalin about his experimental looks and he shares, “I love to experiment with my looks. For The Red Land, I knew I had to work on my looks and make them Desi enough. I had my look planned and was fully prepared for it till I reached Benaras. However, on my first day there, I saw a local and he had this entire jacket look with boots and all. It fascinated me and I re-planned my entire look for the series. The crew had to hunt the local Bazaar and organise the look for me.”
The Red land released on Gemplex recently and has 8 episodes of 25 minutes run time each.
Crescendo Music & Films has joined hands with KSM Film Productions to produce India’s first Teen Thriller 1978 A Teen Night Out. The film has been co-produced by Spotlights Creation and is being distributed by Utopia Studios, worldwide.

“1978” is a racy, supernatural, terrifying, suspense story that promises keep the hearts of its viewers thumping, right from the beginning till the last scene.
1978 has been directed by Aziz Zee and it features a bunch of young teenage actors who have performed amazingly well. Yash Rajpara, Apurva Godbole, Gaurav Sharma, Vaishnavi Kadam, Rishabh Raj, Muskaan Tomar, Sunny Yadav, Rohit Mugallu, Maliha Malla. The film also features renowned TV actress Sonyaa and singer Abuzar Akhtar.
While the songs are completely composed with a retro feel of the 70s, the USP of the film is that all the songs are actually sung by the actors of the film. By sheer coincidence, during auditions, Suresh Thomas of Crescendo films discovered that some of the actors are brilliant singers. He then decided to create the entire music score using the voices of the actors themselves. This is possibly the first time this has ever been done in any Hindi Film.

Yogaytan Films debut venture PARI HOON MAIN trailer and music launched in Mumbai in presence of cast and crew. The honour was done by National Sports person, Cambridge topper and founder of Young Bhartiya Foundation Mr. Amey Pratap Singh. The film is produced by Yogaytan Group chairman Dr. Rajendra Pratap Singh and Sheela Rajendra Singh.

Veteran singer Suresh Wadkar’s daughter Jiya Wadkar is now ready to debut as singer. Jiya has sung for Yogaytan Production’s PARI HOON MAIN. Recently the title song “Mothya Mothya Latanvar…” was recorded in the voice of Jiya Wadkar and Mandar Pilwalkar. The lyrics are written by Sachin Pathak, music composed by Sameer Saptiskar.
