& TV’s 3 more shows resumes shoot today : Bhabhiji Set Par Hain

&TV resumes shoot for the popular cult show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai! Yet again taking the audience on a joyride of laughter, the Mishras and Tiwaris have returned to the modern colony, all excited and prepared. With limited crew and taking utmost safety and sanitation measures.

Shubhangi Atre aka Angoori Bhabi of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai shares, “I am excited to be back on the sets and looking forward to our show to be back with fresh episodes as well really soon. Earlier our set used to be buzzing with technicians, spot dadas and the rest of the crew every morning but now with limited people, the modern colony looks very different. After clearing the sanitation and screening process, we all assembled for a short Ganesh aarti for an auspicious start, followed by rehearsals wearing masks. As I live nearby, I did my own makeup and wore my costume to the set for minimal touch-ups. Also, we are limiting our group lunches and resorting to individual breaks to avoid gathering. The entire experience was quite different, but with time, we all will get used to it.”

Sharing his experience, Yogesh Tripathi said, “I am delighted to be back as Daroga Happu Singh. I missed my show, my characters and crew big time. So many fans asked me ‘Daroga Ji Kab Wapas Aaoge? Toh Loh Mein Aa Gaya! The first day was a little different from what we were used to earlier. We were sanitised and screened, wore masks and maintained social distancing. We all recited Lord Ganesh’s aarti together for an auspicious start to our shoot. Immediately I then changed into my character look. I totally missed my moustache and pot belly! I am sure the viewers are equally excited to see their favourite Happu Ki Ultan Paltan making a comeback really soon!”

Producer Binaifer Kohli is seen on the sets of Bhabiji & Happu to encourage the cast and crew on their first day of shoot.

Sarika Bahroliya aka Gudiya* said, “I cannot express how happy, rather delighted, I am to be back on the sets. It has been quite a different experience with limited people on the sets. On arriving, our temperatures were checked, followed by meeting the other crew members. Wearing masks and following social distancing norms, we started our day with Lord Ganesh’s aarti. I had carried my bag comprising of my makeup and sanitation kit, alongside my Tiffin box. We sanitised our hands at regular intervals. We have some exciting episodes in the pipeline, and I am eagerly looking forward to it to go on air.”

Nikhil Khurana: I gave 1200 auditions before getting a break

For every actor, struggle is what keeps him grounded. Actor Nikhil Khurana, who is part of Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli’s Jijaji Chhat par Hain, feels grateful every day for the journey he has had in the industry and the fact that he has bagged such a great show. “The best thing that I feel when I am on the set is that I am working. I can never forget that I have given 1200 auditions before getting a break.  I remember it like yesterday when I was walking on the same streets of Andheri. So those roads scare me as well as remind me of what I have learnt, as when you go through a lot of rejections you only learn in life. So there is that fear, learning and nostalgia, it feels good,” he says.

If there is anyone who has maintained his youthful looks, it will have to be none other than Nikhil. The actor says that looking young has a lot to do with leading a stress-free life. “The secret is that I have just started living one day at a time. When you have a peaceful life and you are not taking any kind of stress, it reflects on your face and body. I am just thinking about the present moment and I am not getting affected by what is happening around me. I am understanding the fact that peace is something that we need in life because if we have peace, we have everything. So, I have just blocked all the negativity in life and am focusing on the positivity,” he says.

Well, the positivity seems to be following him to his work as well. His onscreen chemistry with his co-actor Hiba Nawab has been appreciated. “There is a chemistry which is built automatically between us on screen, we don’t try hard honestly. We don’t plan anything as such, she gives her best and I give mine and it just translates on screen and comes out very nicely. Hats off to the whole team, the cast and the crew,” he says.

Sanjay is also happy and satisfied with his performance. “I am very thankful to both Sanjay and Binaifer for giving me this opportunity. I felt really good that they believed in me. I was getting a lot of opportunities in TV before as well but I never took them up because honestly, I did not see myself doing that. But as there is Shashank Bali here and the role was also good. It was acting-oriented and performance-oriented unlike family dramas,” he says.
