Sonam Kapoor who recently returned from the US has started work on her next, as she steps into the shoes of Zoya Solanki, the much-loved character from Anuja Chauhan’s novel “The Zoya Factor” which will be adapted for the big screen.
Since Chauhan’s novels have been described as tailor-made for screen adaptations, Sonam who is a voracious reader herself, earlier this year met the author to better understand her character. Sonam has also started her reading sessions with co-star Dulquer Salmaan and also met with sports journalists who have been covering cricket as part of her prep for the film.
Given that the star essays the role of an advertising executive who ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup, she will soon meet advertising professionals to understand the dynamics of the field.
