‘Shikari’ will be released on 20th April 2018

Mahesh Manjrekar, known for presenting films with different story angles and out of box thinking, is coming up with yet another but different movie called Shikari directed by the renowned director Viju Mane. Suvrat and Neha make their debut with the film with Mrunmayee Deshpande, Kashmira Shah, Prasad Oak, Siddharth Jadhav, Bhalchandra Kadam, Vaibhav Mangale, Sandesh Upashyam, Jeevan Karalkar and Durgesh Badwe. and Bharat Ganeshpure have been cast in the lead roles in the film which has created kind of ripples among cinegoers due to its bold posters and teasers appearing recently.

Shikari is produced by Vijay Patil of Aryan Global Entertainment and co-produced by Anand Vaidyanathan Suvrat had carved out a niche for himself through the popular Marathi TV serial Dil Dosti Duniyadari.
Ajit Parab, Sameer Mhatre, Shalendra Barve and Chinar Mahesh atre the music composers of the film for which lyrics have been penned by Shrirang Godbole, Guru Thakur, Akhil Joshi, Jitendra Joshi and Kumar. The five songs have been crooned by Avadhoot Gupte, Urmila Dhangar, Anandi Joshi, Juilee Jogalekar, Divya Kumar, Apeksha Dhandekar and Rinki Giri.

The patrons are wondering if Shikari is going to be a laugh riot, a sex comedy or a serious social drama especially because Mahesh Waman Manjrekar is presenting the film directed by Viju Mane. Shikari is a complete comedy and commercial movie and our tribute to comedy legend Dada Kondke. Through this film, we wanted to send a message that if you want to get into the glamour industry please prepare yourself but don’t enter blindly,” says Mahesh Manjrekar.

Director Viju Mane says “Shikari has a story similar to a beautiful deer stuck in a forest crawling with wild animals ready to take advantage of female vulnerability. Presented in a simple yet interesting and humorous manner, it will be a total entertainer. Although Mahesh Manjrekar is presenting the film, his profound knowledge and varied experience in the film industry has equally contributed in getting the right shape to Shikari.
Producer Vijay Patil says “I am very happy to announce release of our film Shikari. Earlier my father S. R Patil had produced a film Bayko Asavi Aashi in which he played the lead role. The film was not just entertainment but carried a social message. Shikari is also based on communicating similar theme, and will be released all over Maharashtra on 20th April, 2018.”
