Every work of art has its own destiny. The writer gives birth to the story, the director gathers the artists and technicians and the producer brings everyone together to make the film. The entire team has worked hard for the film, which has become a topic of discussion since its title, ‘Institute of Pavtollogy’. This film, which has various features, will be released in theaters across Maharashtra from 11th April. The biggest feature of this film is the juggling act between Sayaji Shinde, a tree-loving actor who has made his mark in acting from Marathi cinema to Southern films, and writer-actor Girish Kulkarni, who has performed eye-catchingly in Marathi-Hindi films.
The Marathi film ‘Institute of Pavtollogy’, presented by Hemant Chavan, Pradyot Pendharkar and Nikhil Magar’s Six Purple Hearts in association with Fatmar Films, is produced by Neha Gupta and Prasad Namjoshi. Vijay Narayan Gavande and Shrikant Desai are the co-producers of the film. ‘Institute of Pavtollogy’ is directed by Prasad Namjoshi and Sagar Vanjari. The story of the film is written by Santosh Shintre, while Prasad Namjoshi has also written the screenplay, dialogues and lyrics along with the direction. Sayaji and Girish have worked together for the first time on the occasion of the film ‘Institute of Pavtollogy’. Both are strong actors, and both have their own unique acting style. So far, Sayaji Shinde has played some thrilling characters, while Girish Kulkarni’s humorous characters have captivated the audience. Both will be seen in the role of teachers in ‘Institute of Pavtollogy’. Sayaji Shinde plays the role of Dr. B. Z. Kalantre, the Vice Chancellor of Kalantre University, while Girish Kulkarni will be seen in the role of Professor Sudhanva Divekar, who starts a new department, ‘Pavtology’, at the university. Regarding the selection of the two, the director duo said that both Sayaji Shinde and Girish Kulkarni are peerless actors. Coming across their faces while writing the film and their agreeing to work in the film was truly beneficial for the ‘Institute of Pavtollogy’. There is a discipline in both of their acting. He also said that the riots and fun became a part of the shooting after the camera went off. With the other actors playing their characters perfectly along with him, the audience will get to see a perfect film that comments on an important issue in the form of ‘Institute of Pavtollogy’.
Along with Sayaji Shinde and Girish Kulkarni, the film stars veteran actors Dilip Prabhavalkar, Shashank Shende, Deepti Devi, Sandeep Pathak, Parth Bhalerao, Devendra Gaikwad, Apurva Chaudhari, Pragalbha Kolekar, Krutika Deo, Harish Thorat, Suyash Zunjurke, Chhaya Kadam, Vijay Nikam, Shivraj Walvekar and others. The music is by Vijay Narayan Gavande, the art direction is by Nilesh Gorakshe. Mandar Kamalapurkar is the sound designer, Girish Jambhalikar is the cinematographer. Rashmi Rode is the costume designer, makeup is by Shrikant Desai and Prashant Gade and Sumit Kulkarni are the production managers. Executive producer Sagar Vanjari has also edited the film, and the VFX are by Amin Kazi.
