No wonder, such a Reelstar will now appear on the silver screen across Maharashtra. The Marathi film titled ‘Reelstar’ will soon hit the screens. The first look motion poster of the multi starrer movie is out on the auspicious day of Dussehra.
‘Reelstar’ has been produced by Jose Abraham, Monica Kambatty and Nisheel Kambatty under the banners of J Five Entertainments, Pheonix group and Initiative Films. ‘Anya’ fame Simmy and Robin directed this film. Sudhir Kulkarni and Robin have written the screenplay and dialogues. The first look of the most versatile actors in the poster reveals an unusual and unique plot which could be mind blowing and a must watch for every commoner. Regarding the motion poster that was released, directors Simmy and Robin said that the Reelstar is the story of every common man who happens to encounter an evil in pursuit of justice, and hence the occasion of Dussehra will be the right occasion to release the first look motion poster of Reelstar. They also gave a hint that Reelstar deals with the unusual turnings in the life of an Amitabh Bachan fan, who makes reels on his popular Hindi songs. Since the first look motion poster is released through the social media pages of very popular actors like Prasad Oak, the expectations of the marathi audience is also at its peak about Reelstar. Reelstar will be Prasad Oak’s next movie to hit the screens after Dharmaveer 2. Producer Jose Abraham said that the movie will hit the screens in January.
Prasad Oak and Bhushan Manjule, brother of well-known director-actor Nagaraj Manjule, will be seen in the lead roles in ‘Reelstar’. Along with them, the film also stars Milind Shinde, Kailash Waghmare, Urmila Jagtap, Ruchira Jadhav, Swapnil Rajashekhar, Shubhangi Latkar, Vijay Patkar, Anant Mahadevan, Dnyanesh Wadekar, Mahesh Subhedar, Shivaji Patne, Ganesh Revdekar, Abhinav Patekar, Vishal Arjun, Rajesh Mavlankar, Karishma Desale etc. Two child actors Arjun Gaykar and Tanishka Mhadse also play a very important role in this family entertainer. Cinematography is done by DOP Shinoob TC. Guru Thakur and Mandar Cholkar have penned the lyrics for this film and Vinu Thomas, who is famous composing music for superhit South films like Drishyam, has composed the music. Dejo is editor. Bhagvat Sonawane has done Makeup and Rani Wankhade has done the Costumes. Production design has been done by Rahul Sharma and Sameer Chitnavis. The creative producer of this film is Mahendra Patil and the chief associate director is Nandu Achrekar. Deepak Pandey is casting director and Rohit Kulkarni is the associate Director.
