Producer Shiv Yadav and 2 Idiots announces film Kaun Con Hai? And they have locked Rashmi Desai to play lead role. The producers have locked few other actors and also in talks with actors for other characters.
The film will be directed by Anup Thapa who is known for Yeh Mard Bechara, Ice Cream (3 Last Wishes) and Shukradosh. Producer Shiv Yadav is well known casting director turned producer who has produced few show. Now he is gearing up for first film. 2 Idiots is ready with Arshad Warsi starrer film ‘Banda Singh’ which will release this year.
Talking to Glamgold producer Shiv Yadav shares, “I am happy to produce first film. We have locked beautiful actress Rashmi Desai to play lead role. We are doing round of meeting with other actors and will reveal at right time.”
About the one line story of the web film Shiv Yadav says, “It is story of a con woman and two friends who are rom-mates. Both call themselves bro mates and consider their bond thicker than real blood brothers. Both fall in love with new female room mate who is a quintessential gold digger masquerading as many characters and takes them for and everyone for joy ride.”
Rashmi Desai debuted in TV serial with Ravan, then played double role in Pari Hoon Main. She earned massive popularity as Tapasya Thakur in Colors’ TV long running serial ‘Uttaran’. She is recipient of several accolades including two Indian Television Academy Awards and Gold Awards. Rashmi also participated in reality shows such as Zara Nachke Dikkha 2, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5, Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 6 and Nach Baliye 7. She debuted in Bollywood with Yeh Lamhe Judai Ke along with Shahrukh Khan and Raveena Tandon. She has also worked in Assamese and Bhojpuri language films.”
