MovieVerse Studios, the mainstream content arm of IN10 Media Network, has teamed up with JOJO Studios, the newly launched film division of JOJO App — the world’s fastest-growing Gujarati OTT platform — to unveil their first Gujarati feature film, a wholesome family entertainer titled Over And Out. The project not only marks MovieVerse’s grand entry into Gujarati cinema but also JOJO Studios’ debut in film production. Shooting is set to roll this Navratri, adding festive significance to the announcement.
Gujarati cinema has seen a remarkable surge over the last decade, driven by storytelling that blends humor, emotion, and cultural authenticity — qualities that have translated into impressive box office success across Gujarat and neighboring states. Recognizing this wave, MovieVerse and JOJO Studios are investing in a film crafted for mass family appeal, starring Raunaq Kamdar, Mitra Gadhvi, and Shraddha Dangar, under the direction of Kilol Parmar.
Aditya Pittie, Managing Director of IN10 Media Network, said, “Regional cinema is the growth frontier for Indian entertainment, and Gujarati films are leading that wave. Our collaboration with JOJO Studios reflects our confidence in this market’s potential and our commitment to telling stories that are rooted, relatable, and widely appealing.”
Echoing this sentiment, Dhruvin Shah, Founder of JOJO Studios, added, “Gujarati cinema has evolved into a robust and creatively rich space, making it the perfect moment for JOJO to step into films. With MovieVerse by our side, we aim to deliver entertainment that is accessible, engaging, and family-driven.”
Vivek Krishnani, CEO of MovieVerse Studios, remarked, “Entering regional cinema is a natural progression for us. Gujarati audiences are loyal and expanding, and JOJO’s established presence in the market makes this partnership especially meaningful. Together, we’re confident that Over And Out will strike a chord with viewers everywhere.”
With Over And Out, both studios aim to strengthen Gujarati cinema’s growing national presence and pave the way for more quality-driven regional films that resonate with audiences across India.
