After playing the aid to Abhay Deol in OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE and the funny gangster in PHAS GAYE RE OBAMA the extremely talented writer and actor, Manu Rishi Chadha is all set to play the character of a Haryanvi cop in, K Sera Sera Box office Pvt.Ltd’s next venture LIFE KI TOH LAG GAYI.

To fit into the look of a Haryanvi Cop Manu lost 10 Kilos of weight. Manu says “I could visualize the character of this Jatt Cop who is trapped in a very funny situation in Mumbai during the first narration given by Director Rakesh Mehta and being from Delhi it was not very difficult to get into the character since I had lot of funny encounters with Jatt policevallahas ,they have very funny sense of humor even at difficult times they would keep throwing witty one liners so we sat and discussed the look  and mannerism of the character, and then the very next day I started working on me to reduce my weight and also started talking in one of the most funniest accent and thankfully by the grace of god the results are fantastic.”

Rakesh Mehta recalls, “Manu was so much taken in by the Haryanvi touch that even when not in-front of the camera Manu would talk with everyone on set, in Haryanvi accent and even now after completing the shoot we exchanges the text messages in Jatt lingo.” Manu’s character is fully comical and any one will relate to the situations in his life.
