Mangesh Kangane, the lyricist of the great songs like Sur Niragus Ho, Maja Anand Harpala, has now turned composer. The songs of the upcoming film “Apsara” have been composed by Mangesh Kangane and on this occasion the lyricist has achieved the rare feat of being a composer. The music of the film was launched by writer, director Praveen Tarde and actor, producer Mangesh Desai. The entire team of the film was present on this occasion. This movie will be released all over Maharashtra on May 10.
The movie “Apsara” is produced by Sunil Bhalerao’s production house ‘Shraman Films and this is the first production. Chandrakant Pawar, who has been working in the film industry for many years, has written, scripted and directed this film. Mangesh Kangane has been working as a lyricist in the Marathi film industry for many years. His writing has given many hit songs to Marathi films. Apart from that, he has also written songs for many music albums. He has debuted as music director with this film.
In 2013 as a lyricist my first film Duniyadari released and my very first song “Tiktik wajte dokyat” got immense love from the audience. Today, working in this field for more than 10 years, I have worked for more than 125 films. I got the opportunity to work with many great people. I learned many new things. I was eager to venture into the industry as a musician and I am grateful to the producer Sunil Bhalerao and director Chandrakant Pawar for giving me this opportunity for “Apsara”.
Three songs from the movie “Apsara” are written and composed by Mangesh Kangane. Singer Abhay Jodhpurkar, singer Anandi Joshi, Omkar Swaroop, Bhaiyya More, Megha Musale have sung the songs of the film. The film stars Suyash Jhunjurke, Mayuri Awhad, Akshata Padgaonkar, Megha Ghadge, Shashank Shende, Vitthal Kale, Vijay Nikam, Mayur Pawar, Rajesh Bhosle, Ashish Warang. Raja Phadtare has worked as a cameraman, Nilesh Rathod as an editor while Subodh Arekar, Imran Malgunkar, Kritik Mazire have worked as choreographers.
