Actress Lakshmi Mehta who was last seen in Bhagya Lakshmi (produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, airing on Zee TV and digital platform Zee5) is locked for Dangal 2 new upcoming show. As per the sources this show will have backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The shoot will begin in few days. Lakshmi was also seen in Dangal 2 original show ‘Professor Pandey Ke Paanch Parivaar’.
Lakshmi Mehta is from Uttarakhand and has done engineering in computer science. Then she worked in IT firm. But somewhere inside the artist was calling and finally she decided to pursue her career in acting. She was participating in drama during college days and was also hosting. She always liked the stage footage. To fulfill her dream Lakshmi came to Mumbai in August 2020. She was not knowing anybody here and there was no friend. So initial days it was little tough and she faced many challenges. It took little time to understand pattern of the industry and the city.
After coming to Mumbai Lakshmi Mehta started giving auditions. Then got work in two web series and cameo in few TV shows. She also did few ads one of them was with Virat Kohli and also did a music video in Marathi “Ali Kade Ase”, Saregama’s “Khuli Khuli” and few more.
Dangal 2 is an Indian Hindi entertainment channel that was owned by Enterr10 Television Network. This channel shows repeated programmes from Hindi Entertainment Channel Dangal and acquired shows from old Hindi Entertainment Channel Imagine TV. It is a free to air channel. It was launched on 2 April 2022.
