Junglee Pictures’ next has seemed to fill in an age old gap of a much needed film especially made for kids.
Kids have booked first appointment for their summer vacation with Junglee, a Vidyut Jammwal starrer family action film which will see hearty combination of high octane action and enduring friendship shared by man and the wild.
Junglee’s story revolves around Vidyut Jammwal’s character – a vet, who on his homecoming to his father’s elephant reserve, encounters and fights an international poachers racket.
Audience will get to see real animals showcase their playful side in the film- first time in almost four decades. Shot with real elephants, Vidyut’s character has a parallel lead in a magnificent tusker named Bhola. Not just the tale of these two doting friends, the film has never seen before action sequences with an interesting mix of ancient martial art of Kalaripayattu and animal movement.
The trailer of the film released to an overwhelming response. Audience members took to social media calling this film a must have theatre experience for their kids. Some touted Vidyut Jammwal as Jungle’s superhero while others called him India’s answer to the Tarzan.
Trade pundits like Taran Adarsh add “(Junglee) seems like an adventure that should appeal to kids and families… also gives an idea of the awesome relationship between human and elephants”.
Sharing his excitement, Komal Nahta says-“The trailer of Junglee is just too lovely. I had goosebumps while watching it and I’m sure the film has many claptrap moments. For audiences of two generations, it will be a novel film because it’s after around four decades that a mainstream film about man-animal bonding is releasing.”
Predicting good run at the box office, Amul Mohan adds – “Junglee trailer has all the ingredients to be a crowd favorite.. animals, action and adventure what’s there not to like in it!”
Produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Priti Shahani, Junglee will hit the theatres on April 5th.
