During lockdown, for almost three months the shooting and release of films, TV serials and web series was completely shut down. Now, since the government has given the permission to start shooting again in Unlock-1, Ganraj Productions’s ‘MANACHE SHLOK’ becomes the first Marathi film to start shooting. The film is produced by Ganraj Associates and Sanjay Dawara and directed by Mrunmayi Deshpande.
The shoot of the film was almost completed before the lockdown started. Just two days worth of work and a few important scenes were remaining to shoot which is now successfully completed.
‘MANACHE SHLOK’ stars Mrunmayi Deshpande and Rahul Pethe. The cinematography is done by Abhijit Abde.
Producers Shreyas Jadhav and Sanjay Dawara said, “As we heard about the permissions given by the government, we took the proper permissions of shooting with a guarantee to follow all the rules. After receiving the permission we gave sanitizers, gloves and masks to the entire team and then started the shoot.”
The shoot was held in Garud Machi at Mulshi Road. Before starting the shoot, our cast and crew members reached the village few days prior to the shoot and were quarantined. As per the rule, only 35 % crew members were present and did the entire work. The artists did their make-up on their own.
