Actress Ekta Jain has been roped in to play an interesting role in the Anup Jalota starrer Satya Sai Baba 2. Jalota, who is already playing the lead in Satya Sai Baba, is directing, singing and composing music for the film. Sharing his views on Ekta’s talent, he said, “Ekta Jain is a good talented actor, anchor, model, influencer and a fashion designer. She is working with us in Satya Sai Baba 2 and I am sure she will justify her role.” Babanrao Gholap of Atman Films presents the film produced by Balkrishn Shrivastav of A One Creation. The film is co-produced by Ankita and Nikita Shrivastav. The screenplay and dialogues will be written by Sachindra Sharma, Pradeep Singh will be the Art Director, Sanjay Verma will be the Editor, Sudhakar Sharma will write the lyrics and Dinesh Singh will be the D.O.P of the film.
Ekta Jain, who lost eight kilos for the role, said, “I am thrilled and excited that I got to work with Anup Jalota. I have reduced eight kilos weight for this film. For the last 6 months I stuck to eating homemade food and regularly worked out in the gym. My past experience and projects will help me further upgrade my skills for this project.”
Ekta Jain has been part of many Bollywood films like Shatranj, Khali Bali and Trahimaan. The shooting of Satya Sai Baba 2 will commence in April 2021 in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Ekta Jain has played a policewoman in Shatranj and a lawyer in Trahimaam. She has completed the shoot and dubbing of an International film project and is hoping that 2021 will bring in work from different platforms whether it is OTT or TV, films or theatre. She said, “I want to learn the new technology in filmmaking and also work with talented actors.”
On a parting note, ask her what she considers important to keep getting good work in showbiz and she said, “I think audiences make you what you are. I want to thank them all for giving me so much love.”
