COLORS launches BADMASH COMPANY – Ek Shararat Hone Ko Hai with Juhi Chawla

NAUGHTY, INDEPENDENT, CRAZY, WITTY, INQUISITIVE, LIVELY are just a few words that describe children. Children are the purest form of innocence as they open up a new world around them with their candid views. Taking us back to the innocent yet the inquisitive world of kids is BADMASH COMPANY, the latest offering from COLORS, a light hearted fun chat show that is by the children, of the children, but for the adults. And playing monitor to this bunch of mischievous kids will be the effervescent, fun loving, real life mom and an actress Juhi Chawla. Starting September 17th get ready to revisit your childhood with Kissan presents BADMASH COMPANY – Ek Shararat Hone ko Hai, every Saturday at 8.00 pm only on COLORS.

BADMASH COMPANY captures this innate intelligence of a child’s logic and the essence of childhood through a format that is lively and interactive with Juhi Chawla the enthusiastic host who connects best with kids. The show is a perfect stress buster and makes weekend viewing enjoyable, the segments include a friendly chat of Juhi with the Kids, ‘Candid camera’ to understand what really goes on in those little brains. The show will also feature kids turning into the host and quizzing adults and also profile children with special talents and aptitude.

Speaking about the show programming head of COLORS, Ashvini Yardi said, ” BADMASH COMPANY is fresh, fun and filled with kiddie gyaan. It is a refreshing show on weekends that the entire family can sit back and enjoy – the perfect stress buster to unwind on the weekends. I’m sure audiences are going to love the innocence of the children on this show and the pure humour that arises out of their little actions and logical reasoning. We’re extremely happy to have Juhi Chawla host of the show as being a mother herself, there’s no one else who is better suited to connect with the kids and our audiences.”

Talking about hosting the show Juhi Chawla said, “With a show like BADMASH COMPANY, one doesn’t feel it’s like working, there is a lot of fun at work. Children are the best colleagues one can ask for, and on a show which is all about them, it’s an absolute delight! The show not only brings me back to my childhood days but also reminds me of bringing up my kids. Being a mother myself I understand the nuances of parenting and it is easier for me to connect with kids. Kids today are smart, they have an answer ready before a question; they can drive you crazy with their incessant interrogation. But I have enjoyed every moment of the shoot with kids and I hope the audiences enjoy this sunshine show which will be a complete stressbuster after a long day of tiresome events.…”

Adding to this, Saravanan P, Business Head, BIG Productions, Division of Reliance broadcast network Ltd said, “The concept of the show is unique and simple: give parents a peek into what is going on in their child’s mind in their growing up years. We approached Juhi Chawla to host the show because we felt that not only does she have the right personality but also the fact that she is a mother to kids in the same age group and so would be able to manage the kids on the sets better. We are confident that the concept and Juhi are a perfect match and that the audiences are going to love this hatke show.”

While the kids take center stage on the show, the audience in the studio will consists of proud mamas and papas, loving didis and bhaiyyas, doting dada-dadi and nana-nani and anyone else who is connected to a child’s world.

Don’t miss the masti and dhamaal of the little-wonders on Kissan Presents BADMASH COMPANY – Ek shararat Hone ko Hai starting September 17 at 8.00pm, every Saturday only on COLORS.
