WHATS UP LAGNA second song released

After immense popularity of son “Tu Jarashi” from WHATS UP LAGNA, now second song “Kuthe Harvun Gele” was released by Finkraft Media and Video Palace.

The song “Kuthe Harvun Gele” is composed by Troy-Aarif and sung by Ketaki Mategaonkar. To increase the curiocity, the makers did not released the video of song but a special video was shot featuring Dance Plus participants Pallavi and Rushabh.

Finkraft Media production, Jai Joshi and Video Palace presentation, the film is idrected by Vishwas Joshi. WHATS UP LAGNA stars Vaibhav Tatwawadi and Prarthna Behre.

Umesh Kamat and Tejashri Pradhan celebrate Makar Sankrant

For the first time Umesh Kamat and Tejashri Pradhan will be seen together in Zelu Entertainment production ASEHI EKDA VHAVE. Recently the film was officialy announced on the eve of Makar Sankrant aka kite festival.

On the occasion sesame and jaggery was distributed as per Indian tradition. Everybody enjoyed kite flying.

The film is produced by Madhukar Rahane and directed by Sushrut Bhagwat. Watching the teaser motion poster, the film sounds romantic. Sharavani Pillai also plays an important role.

ASEHI EKDA VHAVE will release on 6 April 2018.

Aamhi Doghi’s First Teaser Released

Aamhi Doghi, as the name depicts, is the story of two girls who despite different mindsets and yet inseparable, follow diverse paths with the same goal. The story is about Amala, played by Mukta Barve, and Savitri Sardeshmukh played by Priya Bapat who are all set to meet you on February 16 at theatres near you in Maharashtra.
It is for the first time ever, the two talented actresses Mukta Barve and Priya Bapat have acted together in the main roles in a Marathi movie. The versatile Pratima Joshi makes her directional debut with Aamhi Doghi in the film presented by Everest Entertainment.

While Mukta Barve presents a character of a wife with a rural background who is unaccustomed to the urban life, with a stellar role, Priya Bapat, unlike her other roles, plays a very unusual character that too in different looks representing three different ages, with her strong and performance oriented personality. “Act quickly as it comes to mind or else you end up regretting,” is the philosophy Savitri represents in her life. The teaser gives a glimpse of these two characters in Aamhi Doghi.. “Both Mukta and Priya are multi talented actresses from the Marathi Film & TV industry as well from the theatre. Both have proved themselves with the variety of roles they played in a host of films, TV serials and Marathi theatres. For the audience in Maharashtra, Aamhi Doghi will be a feast to the Marathi film lovers who are eagerly awaiting the release of the film” said Sanjay Chhabria of Everest Entertainment.

“Amhi Doghi revolves around the story close to the heart of today’s young women in all types of relationships including that of mother-daughter, father-daughter or friends.. The subject is emotively related to every young girl and hence, will help the young audience to think around sensitively,” says Pratima Joshi, Director of Aamhii Doghi.

Mukta Barve is a talented and young actress from Marathi film industry. She has acted in several TV serials and plays that have won her accolades and awards. She was shot to the fame from her role in critically acclaimed Marathi film Jogwa. Priya Bapat, too, has acted in Marathi as well as hit Hindi films. Her roles in hit Marathi films have won her awards. Her lead role in Kaksparsh was widely appreciated by film critic and film goers as well. Director Pratima Joshi has assisted noted director Chandrakant Kulkarni in as many as ten hit Marathi films including national award winner Ajacha Divas Majha.

Sanjay Chhabria, Director of Everest Entertainment who shouldered the responsibility of production and presentation of Aamhi Doghi, has many hit Marathi films to its credit.including Mee Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy, Tukaram, Aajacha Divas Majha, Happy Journey, Time Please, Mumbai Pune Mumbai 2, Baapjanma among others.

Vikram Gokhale in RASHTRA

Producer Bunty Singh of Inder International has made RASHTRA. Inderpal Singh has written and edited the film with direction. In his debut directorial venture, Mr. Inderpal Singh has chosen the subject of Maharashtra politics.

Veteran actor and power house Vikram Gokhale will be seen in the film. The another usp of film is two politicians RPI president Mr. Ramdas Athavale and Raju Shetty of Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana has also acted.

RASHTRA also stars Mohan Joshi, Rohini Hattangadi, Milind Gunaji, late Reema Lagoo, Sanjay Narvekar, Deepak Shirke and Ganesh Yadav. The music is composed by Nikhil Kamath and Inderpal Singh.

Altaf Raja’s first Marathi qawwali in VEDA BF

Altaf Dadasaheb Sheikh’s film VEDA BF music was launched recently in Pune. Bollywood actor Gavie Chahal was chief guest. Singer Altaf Raja was also present on the occasion and he has sung a qawwali in Marathi for the first time.
Mumbai Creation Entertainment and Mustafa Malik production, the film’s story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics is written by Altaf Sheikh who has also directed the film.

VEDA BF stars Nagesh Bhosale, Vinit Bonde, Prajakta Deshpande, Dr. Vishakha Dhuge, Sagar Gore, Vijay Navle, Altaf Sheikh, Shailesh Pitambare and Vrundabaal. The music is composed by Mono Ajmeri.

VEDA BF is set to release on 19 January 2018.

Mrunal Kulkarni’s son Virajas Kulkarni to debut with Hostel Days

Actress Mrinal Kulkarni’s son Virajas Kulkarni has grown up around films. Being star son, the young boy remembers being surrounded with actors since childhood. So taking up a career in films was an obvious for this theatre and film graduate Virajas who is making his Marathi debut in director Ajay Naik s HOSTEL DAYS with Prarthana Behere, Aroh Welankar, Akshay Tanksale and Sanjay Jadhav.

22 year old Virajas Kulkarni has even assisted mother Mrinal in her directorial debut Rama Madhav. The proud mother (Mrinal Kulkarni) shared, “Technically, my son became an independent director before me. Much before I made Rama Madhav, he had already directed and acted in his first play Anathema. I am glad that he made this career choice and am looking forward to see him succeed in many projects.”

Having learned script writing and screen writing Virajas is careful about the projects he picks. “Director Ajay Naik’s approach to films is what made him to choose it as his debut film. Ajay is the musician at heart so his treatment to a film intriguing. He approaches a film like a song, creates a base and then adds layers. I found that process pretty interesting,” says Virajas.

When asked does he discuss about work with Mother, Virajas said, “After accepting the film, I discussed it with her and she helped me with few insider tips. With the help of her experience and cinematic knowledge I am sure I can’t go wrong.”
