Singer-turned-actress Amika Shail has completed shooting for the first schedule of the web film titled Intention. The web Film features other actors like Ali Asgar, Rahul Dev, Brahma Mishra, Ruslaan Mumtaaz, etc.
Commenting on the occasion Amika said, “This film is an edge of the seat thriller that will keep the viewers in the hook as to what may happen at the very next moment. The story is very fresh, and it’s about three friends who have been contracted for theft – but end up getting trapped in the house they entered to rob, and get murdered one by one. Am sure that the viewers are going to enjoy every moment of it.”
“The best part of the OTT boom is that non-conventional stories are getting a great platform to be showcased. The audiences are also getting to see something different from the run of the mill stories which were often seen in Bollywood. I hope that this new age of cinema will be here to stay even after the pandemic gets over,” said Amika as she signed off for the moment.
The actress was last seen in Alt Balaji’s Hai Taubba Chapter 3 essaying the lead character in the anthology. AltBalaji has repeated Amika Shail in the lead role after the success of ‘Gandii Baat Season 5’. Amika was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s ‘Chattis Aur Maina’ essaying the girl next door character of ‘Dhani’. It was a bouquet of short-format web series under the banner Quix, which provides easy viewing entertainment for the viewers. People like the girl next door character of ‘Dhani’ essayed by Amika Shail. Directed by Shraddha Pasi, the series featured Amika as a dancer. “It is like a dream come true. Dancing on five numbers in a single web series made me give in to the script and one tick on my bucket list. Being a singer, it was not very difficult for me to understand musical beats and grove to them.”
