After the success of the first two installments, the digital giant ALTBalaji has just announced the third season of their hit anthology Hai Taubba. Earlier in May, the streaming platform dropped the two-part anthology, which featured fresh faces in different stories slaying social taboos.
Hai Taubba is a collection of stories that were distributed in two chapters. The first chapter went on air on May 6, the second one on 21st May and all these stories had one common emotion of love which is non-conformist. Chapter 3 is about women breaking societal taboos. Women this time will walk out of their boring married lives, challenge the status quo, explore their individuality. While these stories may be edgy for others, one cannot deny that life isn’t perfect at the end of the day, and our imperfect lives reflect that. And that is the spine of ALTBalaji’s hit franchise Hai Taubba. A collection with five different stories that made everyone go ‘Hai Taubba’. From talking about taboo love to one’s sexuality, from infatuation to guilt, ALTBalaji’s Hai Taubba didn’t shy away from topics discussed in whispers hitherto. Keeping the trend of slaying social taboos, makers are ready with yet another part of the anthology.
ALTBalaji dropped a graphical teaser announcing the third season of the series. In the teaser, we hear a voice-over saying out phrases like “Sharam Karo”, “Baap Re Baap”, “Hai Taubba,” reminding us that the series is going to be scandalous like its predecessor. While dropping the teaser, the makers wrote: Har stereotype hoga break, kyunki #HaiTaubba is here with 4 more takes!
Love knows no boundaries, and it transcends age, gender, and everything in between. With the third season of ‘Hai Taubba’, the makers talk about how society reacts to the issues that we don’t talk about but are deeply ingrained in our lives. Taking a cue from the infamous saying, “Kuch Toh log kahenge, logo ka kaam hai kehna” which essentially means that people will have something or the other to say, no matter what. Season 3 will also see some of the new faces amongst Poulomi Das & Rutpanna Aishwarya.
