As the son of veteran actor Atul Srivastava, Akshat had an early introduction to the film world. However, his passion always lay in filmmaking rather than acting. He began his journey in photography at the young age of 10 and created his first short film while studying in the 9th standard. Pursuing his dreams, Akshat Srivastava earned a BA in Film and TV New Media Production from UPG College (Mithibhai campus). He commenced his professional career as an intern at TVF in 2018 and became a full-time member in 2022 after assisting director Apoorv Singh Karki, known for the popular movie “Bandaa” and series “Aspirants,” on TVF original “Saas Bahu Achaar” and various other projects.

The movie, now available on Jio Cinema, narrates the misadventures of a young aspiring filmmaker who takes on the challenge of learning writing to participate in a movie-making competition that could either break him or make him. Akshat Srivastava played multiple roles in the movie, including writing, directing, and editing.
