Adarsh Gourav is renowned for his natural and emotionally profound acting skills, but he has also found a perfect outlet for his creativity through music. Trained in Hindustani classical singing and a talented songwriter, Adarsh has been part of two bands: Steepsky, a metal ore band, and Oak Island, a progressive metal band. Despite his success in acting, he intends to balance both his acting and music careers.
Having released his last single four years ago, Adarsh is now preparing to return to the studio to record fresh music, which he plans to release later this year. His musical talent has been somewhat of a hidden treasure so far, and he aspires to share his music with a broader audience.
In Adarsh’s words, “Music has been a constant in my life, but acting is something I discovered along the way, and I equally love both. My goal is to strike a balance between both worlds, engaging in projects that speak to me and showcase my skills in both fields. It has been almost four years since I last recorded a single, and now I’m excited to work on new soulful, vocal-driven pieces that align with my natural inclinations. Music, to me, is a medium to express my emotions and unleash my creativity. My journey into music began with Hindustani music, and I continue to draw inspiration from the works of legendary musicians.”
On the acting front, Adarsh Gourav will soon be seen in “Guns and Gulaabs,” a comedy crime thriller created and directed by the talented duo, Raj and DK. Set in the 80s world of crime and violence, the film features notable actors like Rajkummar Rao, Gulshan Devaiah, Dulquer Salmaan, and TJ Bhanu in significant roles. Additionally, Adarsh will be part of “Kho Gaye Hum Kahan,” starring alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey.
