The breakout star of our film industry, Adarsh Gourav is a phenomenal actor who has received numerous accolades for his work in ‘The White Tiger’. With a remarkably layered performance of Balram, Adarsh has been on the radar of many A-list directors and filmmakers. Adarsh Gourav has been on a nonstop spree of accolades for his incredible portrayal of Balram Halwai in the Netflix production which released earlier this year. The actor has been conferred with the Rising Star Award by the Asian World Film Festival.
Adarsh will be seen next in Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, a relevant and unique take on the lives of a current-generation who is lost in the digital world. Written by the brilliant team – Zoya Akhtar, Arjun Varain, and Reema Kagti; produced by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Ritesh Sidhwani; and directed by Arjun Varain Singh, the film is a coming of ‘digital’ age story.
Adarsh Gourav is a versatile actor, and he gets into the skin of any character effortlessly. He believes that Zoya Akhtar has a knack for writing characters that are truly every actor’s dream and delight. He mentions, “Zoya Akhtar is a daring and dynamic director who is re-defining cinema in her own right. Her narratives are refreshing, the characters are well-rounded and the perspective she brings forth through her cinematic style is thought-provoking. It’s an absolute honor to work with her and I am enormously excited to be a part of this project.”
Grounded in the digital age and yet reminiscent of a simpler time, the film is about three friends in Mumbai who are lost in the world of screens and their digital life. The film will also have Siddhanth Chaturvedi who has worked with Zoya before in Gully Boy. Through this film, Ananya Panday will also associate with Excel and Tiger Baby for the first time.
