The story of Gotya Gangster follows three friends living in a Mumbai chawl whose lives take an unexpected turn due to a series of incidents. Circumstances force them to hatch a kidnapping plan, setting the stage for chaos and comedy. Adding to the intrigue is the sudden return of Don Chiman Bhai, a feared gangster who had fled Mumbai years ago and settled in Dubai. His re-entry changes everything, leading to sharp dialogues, hilarious situations, and nonstop entertainment. Omkar Shivde serves as associate writer and director, while Ketan Thombre is the creative director. The film’s publicity is handled by Darshan Musale of Media Planet. Rajesh Pinjani, who won the National Award for his debut film Babu Band Baja, was regarded as a promising filmmaker with a distinctive voice.
