On his birthday, Adivi Sesh unveiled a striking new poster for Dacoit, ramping up excitement ahead of the film’s highly anticipated Hindi teaser, set to release tomorrow. Featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, with the formidable Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal role, Dacoit is already emerging as one of the most talked-about pan-India cinematic ventures, generating massive buzz among fans and film enthusiasts alike.

Promising a pulse-pounding cinematic journey, Dacoit seamlessly fuses high-octane action, raw emotion, and riveting drama. The electrifying on-screen chemistry between Sesh and Thakur, amplified by Kashyap’s commanding presence, ensures an immersive and intense storytelling experience that resonates with audiences across languages.
A landmark project in Adivi Sesh’s career, Dacoit is being filmed simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, rather than relying on dubbing—a testament to the evolving landscape of regional cinema embracing inclusivity while preserving cultural authenticity.
Commenting on this approach, Adivi Sesh explains, “Language is more than a medium; it’s emotion. When a story is dubbed, subtle nuances—the rhythm, the emotional undertones—often get lost. To truly connect with audiences across the country, each version of Dacoit is lived and performed authentically in its language. Some emotions are universal, but the experience must be genuine. That’s why the film is being crafted from the ground up in both Telugu and Hindi, capturing every detail perfectly.”
Directed by Shaneil Deo in his debut venture, and produced by Supriya Yarlagadda with co-production by Suniel Narang, Dacoit is presented by Annapurna Studios. The screenplay and story have been collaboratively developed by Adivi Sesh and Deo, promising a narrative rich in depth, tension, and cinematic flair.
Set to hit theaters nationwide on 19th March 2026, Dacoit strategically aligns its release with the festive Gudi Padwa and the extended Eid weekend, setting the stage for a grand pan-India celebration of action, drama, and storytelling at its finest, captivating audiences across regions.
