Producer-turned-director Ashish Maheshwari is gearing up to bring a new wave of heartfelt storytelling to Bollywood with his upcoming romantic drama, Na Hum Samajh Sake Na Tum. The film is set to go on floors on February 7, 2026, with its first schedule in the scenic locales of Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, followed by shoots in Mumbai and Lucknow.
Backed by Shreya Cine Vision, this project is a blend of emotion, melody, and fresh talent. The film is presented by Shailesh Maheshwari and produced by Shruti Maheshwari, while Sanjay Bhushan Patiyala and Javed Jani Mian Syed serve as co-producers. The story and direction come straight from the creative vision of Ashish Maheshwari himself, who continues his commitment to offering opportunities to both emerging and established actors.
Ashish Maheshwari film’s screenplay and dialogues are penned by Partha Akerkar, who is currently finalizing the script in Mumbai. Na Hum Samajh Sake Na Tum promises a beautiful blend of romance and drama, enhanced by a soulful soundtrack composed by Biswajeet Bhattacharya, with lyrics by Pranav Vats. Featuring eight melodious tracks, the film’s music is expected to be one of its biggest highlights, with several renowned singers lending their voices.
A native of Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, Ashish Maheshwari began his journey in cinema as a producer with films like Dosti Zindabad (starring Dev Sharma, Shakti Kapoor, and Rahuul Chuwadhary) and Raktbhoomi (featuring Ravi Kishan and Monalisa). His dedication and creative instincts have already earned him multiple accolades, including the Gau Bharat Bharti Award from Vivek Oberoi, the Akhand Bharat Gaurav Award from Prahlad Nihalani and J. Brandon Hill, and the Business Star Achievers Award from Arbaaz Khan.
