Actor Sidharrth Sipani, known for his work in Zindagi Ki Mehek and the web film Fariha, is stepping into a bold new chapter with his upcoming project Hero Kaun. Sharing his excitement, the actor reveals, “I got the offer for Hero Kaun when I least expected it. After several rounds of auditions, I received a call from producers Arpita Phatnayak and Sooraj Khanna, who said they were impressed by my performance. What truly convinced them was my transformation into Ballu — a character raw, intense, and far removed from who I am in real life.”

Taking on Ballu, Sidharrth Sipani says, was both challenging and rewarding. “Ballu is the unsung hero — a tough man with a rugged exterior but a heart of gold. He lives in a harsh world, constantly battling both inner and outer struggles. To portray him, I had to shed my usual clean-cut style. I grew my hair, sported a scruffy beard, and switched to a simpler, rugged look. I also worked extensively on his dialect, trained in fight sequences, and studied people who live similar lives to truly understand his journey.”
Talking about his on-set experience, Sidharrth Sipani adds, “Working on Hero Kaun was extraordinary. The energy on set, the support of the cast and crew, and Arpita’s guidance as a director helped me push my boundaries. It was exhausting at times but easily the most rewarding experience of my career.”
The series has already released on Prime in the US and will premiere on Tara Entertainment’s YouTube channel on August 23, 2025. It is also set to release on Zee in the US and later across major OTT platforms in India and worldwide.
Making a comeback after two years, Sidharrth Sipani says the break was much-needed. “I traveled, took acting workshops, explored hobbies, and spent time with family. The pause gave me clarity and helped me return with a renewed sense of purpose as an actor.”
