The much talked about film since its inception, Medium Spicy is finally ready to hit the screens on 17th June. The film had just about finished its shoot when the pandemic broke out and while the film got ready between lockdowns, the makers waited for the mood of the people to be more conducive for families to come out and watch a movie in theaters again.
Landmarc Films announced the release date with its first poster, showcasing a warm moment among its lead cast – Sai Tamhankar, Lalit Prabhakar and Parna Pethe.
The film is coming out at a time when there is a shift happening in the youth living in urban cities. Life as was known to us prior to the pandemic has changed. Probing, questioning, trying to understand themselves and searching for happiness and fulfillment in their relationships, marriage and career and seeking their own balance in this tough puzzle called Life. Medium Spicy deals with all these aspects and much more. The makers feel that it is a relevant piece of cinema for people of different age groups and are confident that this potpourri of relationships will resonate with the youth.
Landmarc Films, founded by the dynamic Vidhi Kasliwal has never shied away from backing projects which have been non-linear in concept. Vidhi has produced some of the most interesting films like Vazandar, Ringan, Gachchi, Sanngto Aika, Pipsi, Nashibvaan and Redu.
Medium Spicy is directed by Mohit Takalkar. Mohit is a known name in theater circles all across the nation He is a talented young actor and director and a brilliant editor as well. There is a lot of curiosity about this film, it being his directorial debut in Marathi cinema.
The film has a terrific talented ensemble cast of Sai Tamhankar, Lalit Prabhakar, Parna Pethe, Sagar Deshmukh, Neha Joshi, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Ipshitaa complemented by veteran actors Neena Kulkarni and Ravindra Mankani. The film has been written by Irawati Karnik.
Medium Spicy is set to be released all over Maharashtra on 17th June by Panorama Studios.
