Popular model Vishnu Malhotra’s first video song “Kinna Chauna” is getting whooping response as it has already crossed 1 lakh views in a week of its release. It is a beautiful song with a typical 90’s vibe and sound treatment. “Kinna Chauna” is produced by Fresh Dope Records (UK), music by Bally Sagoo, Vocals/Composed by Vicky Marley and Directed by Devshi Khanduri who has also penned story-lyrics.
Talking to Glamgold, Vishnu said, “I was very excited for this video. The cast and production team was excellent, so I really enjoyed working. Secondly I love winter season and the shoot happened during the snow. It was a perfect time to shoot the video because our shooting locations, Harshil and Uttarkashi, were looking super beautiful during that time of the year.”
Born and brought up in Dehradun, Vishnu pursued B.Com Honors. He wanted to become a cricketer but destiny brought him to the glamour world. “I had faced the camera before for shoots and fashion weeks, but this was my first experience for a music album. I was excited and confident but also little bit nervous about how it will look on screen.”
Vishnu has done numerous commercials for big brands like Streax Pro, Flipkart, Amazon, Manyavar, and more. He had walked for Siddartha Tytler in Delhi Times Lifestyle Week. He also got featured in the TMM magazine which according to him was his best moment till date.
“Kinna Chauna” is a beautiful Punjabi Love story with a reincarnation touch. Shares Vishnu, “I believe in reincarnation. If you see, many of our historical as well as religious stories are around the subject of reincarnation. I wanted to become a cricketer but now my journey is taking me down the road of ‘lights, camera and action’. I feel God had different plans for me and I got into the industry.
Talking about reincarnation in Bollywood movies Vishnu said, “I like Om Shanti Om and Kudarat. The song “Hume Tumse pyaar kitna Yeh hum nahi janate” is the most played song on my playlist.
