We recently heard that Chitrashi Rawat has been selected as one of the cast in Milind Ukey’s upcoming ‘Monsoon Football’ along with Sagarika Ghatge, and now the sources reveal that another Chak De! India girl, Vidya Malvade will be joining in the team of Milind Ukey’s sport-centric Marathi movie with Sagarika Ghatge, Chitrashi Rawat and Seema Azmi. Sounds like a reunion of Chak De! India, yet again?
‘Monsoon Football’ has been giving us major shockers every day with the revelation of the cast and we can’t wait to see Vidya, Sagarika & Chitrashi share the screen once again with a sport-centric movie with the difference being that they played hockey previously and now they’ll be seen playing football in saree. Monsoon Football will revolve around the lives of housewives who want to kick the monotony out of their lives with football and form a team that brings their identity back.
”It was always a plan to be in the Marathi movie industry and work with Milind sir in specific. Post the confirmation of the movie, it was surprising to know that Sagarika, Seema, and Chitrashi are also a part of this movie. It just made me nostalgic and excited at the same time,” says the actress Vidya Malvade.
